Hi! I’m Monica Kim, a UX/UI designer who started in graphic design but quickly fell in love with the world of user experience. I was born and raised in Virginia, and I’ve lived here my whole life.

What I love most about UX/UI is knowing that people actually interact with the things I design. Whether it’s sketching wireframes, building out app screens, or solving little user problems I’m all in! It’s fun, creative, and honestly doesn’t even feel like work to me. (Feels like a hobby!)

I studied Graphic & Interactive Design and have taken extra courses through the Interaction Design Foundation to strengthen my UX skills. I’m confident in tools like Figma (my go to!) and love keeping up with current design trends(One of my biggest strengths in design).

I’ve worked on everything from e-commerce websites, nonprofit websites to Amazon product branding and social media content. I’m great at working with a team, but I’m just as comfortable working independently. Right now, I’m looking for a junior UX/UI design role where I can keep growing and creating designs that make people’s lives just a little bit easier.

When I’m not designing, I’m probably trying a new food spot or watching a movie, two things I take very seriously. 😝
